Been saying this for weeks. In order to build a mass deportation machine to round up and deport 4% of the entire goddamn population, you must first build the police state.

If you strip away the egos and shitposting, the Trump-Musk feud is really an argument over how comprehensively to screw over poor and working people—over how best to make our society a meaner, crueler, less equal, more savage place.

New piece from me:

The Real Reason for the Trump-Musk Feud is Uglier than You Think
Strip away the ego contest, and what you really see here is a competition about how screw over poor and working people more effectively.

DOGE used *cheap, outdated* AI to "munch" the VA contracts.

The code was so chump it hallucinated the size of contracts.

It repeatedly pegged contracts as worth $34 million -- they were actually worth $34,000.

This seems like a great day to remind Bluesky that Stephen Miller lived four doors down from me freshman year

And our student council person asked him (and everyone) to sign a birthday card for our dorm’s janitor

And he threw a tantrum and wrote an op-ed about not socializing with “the help.”

Democrats: we don't need the left to win! we'll just try to get the votes of "moderate Republicans" (an oxymoron)

[Democrats get crushed after this plan fails]

Democrats: this is the left's fault!

Said it before but the worse things get it bears repeating. You are not a ‘creative’ or a ‘maker.’ You’re an artist, & if you choose to distinguish, a playwright, painter, whatever. These words have a lineage, they mean something. They’re politically important. Take responsibility.

For those of you who scoff at the idea, there will be no elections under the GOP, here it is. Black and white.

This is how the game is played by the dirty side. Time for the Democrats to wake up.
Liar Greg Abbott says he has refused to set a special election to fill the seat of recently diseased Democratic Rep. Sylvester Turner because he says Harris County doesn’t do their elections properly.

McMahon: I’d have to get back to you

Lee: Do you know what the Tulsa race massacre is?

McMahon: I’d like to look into it more and get back to you on it.

Armed FBI agents knocked on the doors of two pub defenders at SEVEN AM, asking to talk w them, having made no earlier effort to reach out.

Both PDs represented ppl detained by ICE.

FBI said they “wanted to reach out before work.” Which is nakedly not true.
