Multiple things can be true about something or someone, all at the same time.
lol show us your vote for Ross Perot, boomer
The internet actually thought Ron Paul was going to be president at one point which is a more damaging indictment of millennial culture than anything that I regularly see people use to own us

the amount of time spent by bluesky's staff attempting to dunk on users over policies or moderation decisions people find objectionable is disgusting.

if you clowns did your jobs properly instead of looking for clapbacks on the people keeping your lights on maybe bluesky wouldn't be struggling 🙂

Assigned's mentions for this post are flooded with people who want to jeer at Biden so may I just say: When a Democratic former president makes a point of standing up for trans rights in a situation where he is absolutely not required to do so, for God's sake, just take the W.
6 Dec 2025 @rikiwilchins.bsky.social -- Biden, generally a lukewarm backer of trans rights as President, uses Intl International LGBTQ+ Leaders Conference speech to slam Reps/Trump for turning trans rights into "political football...into something scary, something sinister."

Just met Pedro Pascal. He's shooting a movie a block away from our house. They shoot movies here often so we see a lot of famous people but I never get star struck like I did today. He's like 10 times as good looking in person as he is in the movies and he took a picture with us. He smells amazing.

My heat pad brings all the cats to the bed.

And they’re like, “It’s warmer than yours.”

Damn right, it’s warmer than yours.

I could heat you, but I choose cats instead.

I wonder if there’s a psychological similarity in the disconnect with reality that slave owners had in the confederate south, and the disconnect with reality that modern billionaires have. Divorced from the need for personal labor and convinced of their superiority.

Someone should ask Elon Musk.

MAGA founder and the ultra wealthy fly to private islands to abuse the innocent.

Middle class MAGA need to make do with fantasies about mass violence against their neighbors. Seems like the same impulse.
There it is.

Radicalization among Middle and Wealth Class MAGA is partially driven by an unbearable and deep-seated unhappiness that they don’t understand, couldn’t name, and is being released through violent fantasies that will turn into actual violence.
Sitting in a comfortable home with a steady income; living a life of almost unbearable tedium and routine; fantasizing about the psychopathologies potentially unleashed by the fall of civil society, the only freedom still possible for him.

I don’t have to imagine, he absolutely didn’t do it. He’s completely innocent and should be set free immediately. He did nothing wrong.

The December Comfort Watches series continues tonight with... Dredd?!? Yes! Dredd! Which presents us with a horrible place to live that you would probably never want to visit, and yet makes it entirely watchable:

TBF to Karp, who 100% deserves life to be actually fair to him, it is important for a reporter to understand the standards of the industry they cover.

And by standards, I mean of course physical standards, not ethical ones, because people like Karp have proved they don't have the later.

Trump is that Wall Street scene where Michael Douglas is saying "Greed is good," only cross out greed and replace it with need, and then cross out the whole speech and just have him crying, "Please someone love me."

"The premise of your question is not well-founded" is just going to be my default response to everything now.

Just a completely meaningless reply, completely untethered from any need for context or relation to what's being asked. If I didn't know how fucking stupid Cotton is, I'd call it genius.
Really. What an asshole.

BERMAN: Would it be legal for police in Arkansas to kill suspected drug dealers on a boat in a lake?

TOM COTTON: The premise of your question is not well-founded

BERMAN: The answer is no. It would not be legal to kill them.
