‘he’ll learn from this’ is a bit wild for a guy who’s coached 8 seasons in the league, and coached the uswnt. it was still a dominant and successful season that helped repair his reputation. the injuries are tough, but ultimately he was undone by the same obstinance that marred his uswnt tenure.
