Techbros seem to love Tolkien, so here's an analogy to help you understand what genAI is.

GenAI is The One Ring. You think your use is justified, b/c you don't have evil in your heart.

But it came from evil, it is intended for evil purpose, & anything you do with it will be twisted to that end.

I've been asked whether Algernon Goldfish might have done it. While he was just the kind of fishy character who might have attempted a crime on this scale, he was struck off the register after I wrote the article, which left him floundering. At the time he was almost the only operator who had been.

I’m old enough to remember when the BBC used old footage of Johnson at the cenotaph, to cover the fact that he was hung over and looked like a burst mattress on a tip.
The DG didn’t resign though

Vital piece of investigative reporting from Sky. They've uncovered the X algorithm which feeds users extremist right wing material from the moment they join the site. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design.

They need to ditch this law before the next General Election or it could genuinely have the power to swing some votes.

You can argue about as many other policies as you want, but make it harder for angry men to access porn and abuse people on social media and they will do what it takes to undo it
