I remember the shitstorm around the 3DS game 12 years ago, and Nintendo's promise to make the next one more inclusive.

To be honest, I thought they'd quietly forget about it, but fair play to them for not only coming through on their promise but nailing the execution too.

I've seen a lot of "fuck Nintendo" for this and accusations of double-standards over all the Hentai games on the eShop, but the reason for this might be down to Nintendo's infrastructure rather than its morals.

If you're an old dick like me, you'll remember that the UK Milky Way didn't always have a white centre. It used to be like a Mars bar without the caramel.

If you know your US chocolate, a 3 Musketeers is what a Milky Way used to be like.

(Plus a US Milky Way is a UK Mars bar)

Don't forget my SNES Encyclopedia has a bonus section covering every Virtual Boy game, so you can brush up before they're re-released.

The people who'll tell you today's murder victim in Minnesota shouldn't have turned up to a protest carrying a gun are the same people who said Kyle Rittenhouse was perfectly entitled to do the same thing.

All this time right-wingers have been saying it's their legal right to carry a gun. Every time there's a mass shooting, "oh, but don't take the guns away".

Now ICE kills someone who was legally carrying and suddenly their angle is "BUT HE HAD A GUN HE WAS DANGEROUS"

The kid and I are having a blast making our own world in Disney Infinity. I knew collecting all the figures would eventually pay off.

Would give anything for another version: doesn’t need the toys-to-life stuff, just even more content and better performance

We're going to see more of these Nintendo retirements in the coming months, and mark my words: the narrative we're going to get – unfairly, in my opinion – every time a Nintendo game is released that doesn't get an 85+ Metacritic is that the old Nintendo is dead and the new blood doesn't 'get it'

Ubisoft's share price was something like €4-5 back in the early 2010s, then they continually nailed it and rocketed that up to more than €100 at one point in 2018.

Now it's back down to €4-5 again.

These studios are capable of great things. I hope they find that spark again.
Ubisoft's share price dropped by 33% this morning following its announcement of a "major company reset" yesterday, hitting its lowest value in 14 years.
