Warm take: There's a snobbery against basic puzzle games these days, which didn't exist during the days of Tetris, Dr Mario, Puzzle Bobble, Zoo Keeper – right up to the moment smartphones arrived, basically.

Watched all of Zohran Mamdani's victory speech this morning. I really hope this is the start of something massive, something big enough to fight the inevitable escalation this will prompt from the White House.

This is the original source versus the upscale
(I'm not saying the upscale is necessarily better BTW, I just like experimenting to see how closer these things are getting to the real thing. It still clearly struggles with things like retro game footage and smaller details)

Been trying to upscale some old video game ads with a really powerful (offline) upscaler. Happy enough with the results given I was dealing with an awful initial source
