Been around the block, retired from education, sort of, not retired from life. Now got time for watercolour painting, riding my bike, and playing blues, though not all at the same time.
Been glory hunting with Liverpool since Shankly’s days

Supporters of Nigel Farage’s Reform UK held the most extreme views of any party backers, with 71% saying that having British ancestry was a prerequisite for someone to be truly British(Guardian 30.12). So that rules out the Royal Family

Just shows how stats are often misleading. Julian Dicks was arguable the worst player I saw in a red shirt, certainly with regards to attitude, yet he is above Henry on that list.
With his successful spot-kick for Fulham against Nottingham Forest, Raúl Jiménez has joined Yaya Touré as the player to have taken the most Premier League penalties and still have a 100% conversion rate (11/11).

A reminder that Nigel Farage has pocketed more than £400,000 this year from GB News.

No wonder Farage is cheering Trump on in his attacks on the BBC.

Didn’t see the full match but saw highlights. How the faak was that not a red?! Horrendous challenge. Surely Pawson & Darren England(VAR) who’s got previous gets reprimanded. Incompetence of the highest order. And Gomes nearly scores as well later in the match. #PGMOL are corrupt! #LIVBHA 🔴👊🏽

❗There’s been a 40% increase in emergency food parcels provided over winter in the last 5 years.

Food prices have risen by 37% in the last 5 years, rents are skyrocketing, bills are crazy, and our social security system hasn’t kept up.

People don’t have enough money to live.

Why does the 4th official not enforce the rule on only 1 person in the technical area when Newcastle are playing.
Howe and his mate get away with it every game

Can somebody take a copy of the rules to Darren England please. How isn’t that a straight red for the tackle on Wirtz. #LFC #PGMOL Incompetence 🤷‍♂️

If you Judge a school on a narrow set of criteria including results in STEM subjects, then who can actually blame school leaders.
The fault for this lies at the top, 40 years of politicians spouting “Maths Science and English are the important subjects” rhetoric has impoverished the curriculum.

Racket?
The real racket was failed free schools and that’s before we get onto the VIP lane frauds.
A simple 8 word headline to remind us all that, yes, The Spectator really is as bad as you might expect for a periodical once edited by Boris Johnson and now under the stewardship of a certain Michael Gove.

Good old Salford Broadcasting Corporation. Funny how they never ever queried the “soft penalties” that have boosted Bruno Fernandez’ total. For their information… Pulling a shirt in the box is a penalty according to the laws of the game - PGMOL incompetence isn’t a law.
Would Liverpool have got 'soft' penalty in Premier League?
