Piero Hincapie has six clean sheets in a row with Ecuador:

0-0 vs Chile
0-0 vs Brazil
0-0 vs Peru
0-0 vs Paraguay
1-0 vs Argentina
0-0 vs Canada (last night)

When he was absent with injury last month, they drew 1-1 with the USA and 1-1 with Mexico.

Think they need a striker.

Delighted I tuned in at 2-0 up to watch that collapse.

Bit delayed this, mostly because of the hangover!

But a huge shoutout to Arsenal Göteborg (you guys know who you are) for making me so welcome at Cheers pub on Saturday.

Had an absolute blast, I think. I can’t really remember it… 😂

I'm covering the main blog today.

If it were a LinkedIn post (which it never will be), it would be titled:

"What golf, tears, and a 12-year-old named Henry taught me about winning (and Arsenal)"

It sounds like Arsenal’s response to the Palace game being scheduled for 23 December is to ask whether the Everton match can be brought forward from Sunday to Saturday, avoiding two games in just over 50 hours.

We should find out tomorrow if their request has been approved.

We call this one Hurricane Declan.

Kinda typical of Arsenal’s luck on the injury front this season that two guys who’ve been near ever-presents picked up muscular issues the game after they’ve been given a midweek breather. Says everything about how complicated / random it is keeping players fit.

You have to be very good to make things look that easy.

A very impressive half from Arsenal - Rice, Gyokeres and Trossard among the standout performers.

More of the same after the break, please.

NewsNow used to be such a great aggregator for football and Arsenal news.

Its slow, then spectacular, descent into enshittification has been something to behold. What a shame.

The most 1-0 of 1-0 wins. Take it. Move on. Four new injury concerns is far from ideal though.

Unfortunately, the downtime is more downy than we had expected.

We're working as hard as possible to get things back up and running but it may not happen in time to provide the usual coverage of today's game on @arseblog.com, @arseblog.news and @live.arseblog.com

Sorry for the inconvenience 😕
We're gonna have a bit of downtime across the sites this evening.

Please bear with us 🙏

Had a couple of thoughts on Arsenal's stadium revamp.

Current Emirates naming rights deal ends in 2028. Will be interesting to see if that gets extended - natural cut-off point in play.

Also, a stadium makeover is a perfect opportunity to update club branding, and specifically the current badge.

Very confused as to how/why Arsenal (left) are selling a different version of the 92-94 re-release compared to Adidas (right). The latter being the correct version.
