I fully believe the Cubs would've won the World Series if they beat the Brewers. This is not complimentary. I don't think the Cubs were anything more than barely above average. But they would've beaten both the Dodgers and Blue Jays

Whoever designed the format of the NCAA baseball tournament was a sick sick human. You basically can’t get through the loser’s bracket (5 games in 4 days) without giving critical, do-or-die innings to a kid with a 8.46 ERA you recruited as a shortstop
