Important note for folks in leadership:

"Hate speech" is not the same thing as "Speech that *I* hate".
Just for an example to drive this home:

The Feminist Caucus is insisting in social media posts and in official emails that I am "mean."
Yesterday, the Attorney General asserted that "hate speech" is not free speech.

Today, the President asserted that speech that is "mean" or "unfair' to him is "hate speech".

Water funparks have slopes that are less slippery than this.

Real talk? EVs are already some of the "sportiest" cars on the market right now.

Case in point: my family recently bought a car with excellent acceleration and handling (classic "sporty" characteristics).

That car? A used 2017 Chevy Bolt.
EVs once promised to turn down the volume on traffic. Now sports car makers are rolling out electric models that are designed to be just as noisy as a V8.

I guess I just want some of the RTO c-suite suits to lean into how downtown tax base benefits cities. It does not seem like a messaging blunder to say "our company has benefited from the incredible conditions here and wants help ensure the city remains vibrant and healthy for many years to come."

#OnThisDay July 22 1850: The riverboat "Yankee" leaves St Paul on a record setting trip 150 miles up the Minnesota River far into Blue Earth County, proving the River navigable for large steamships. At that point the captain turned back only because "swarms of mosquitos were proving too much."

"We put so many resources into studying the movement of cars on a structural level, but we do not do the same for pedestrians or bicyclists.

While some cities already do some bike and pedestrian counting to inform project designs, it is mostly done at the surface level."
