This will be weather, dog, sports, music, and husband content mostly.
How deranged is my Radiohead fandom?

A friend posted a random promotional pic of the band in our group chat, asking which show it was taken. Another friend said I could find it.

We have been huring for snow in the Twin Cities this month! Only 4" in the metro, when we should be closer to a foot.

Look at all the southern cities that have more snow just from the last few days! They basically got a year (or two) of snow.

I love that the winning team for this year’s St Paul Winter Carnival snow sculpting contest is Team Doing Our Best.

Even better? The winning sculpture is called “It’s a Frickin Bat”

Did I just swear loudly at the gym when seeing this? Absolutely. No regrets.

I’ve always been told to look to network shows for how to act on local TV.

Gayle just dropped “douche canoe”

Oh, the chopper is circling the neighborhood around the station tonight. We can hear it in our windowless bunker.

Wind chills are back in the -25° to -30° range in the Twin Cities Monday morning. They could be -35° to -45° up north.

You might see some snow showers by the evening. Little to nothing sticks. No big deal.

How much is Jim Nantz on a plane?

Dude just dropped “instrument landing” into commentary when he’s neither a pilot or a meteorologist.

Someone just called the newsroom, angry that we aren’t showing the weather.

Literally my job. I love doing it. But read the room. Y’all won’t see much weather tonight.

There are many out of town reporters here covering this (not Max, this was just a good post to use).

One thing I keep seeing/hearing in unison is “holy crap, you weren’t lying about the cold”
It’s -9 degrees. Downtown Minneapolis is packed for the anti-ICE rally and the crowd keeps growing

I think we can just put that Minnesota is closed today.

Learned this the hard way during the infamous Halloween storm when I couldn’t get into my car for a few days!
