This is huge: “A drug that provides near-perfect protection against H.I.V. with shots just twice a year will be made available at $40 per patient annually in low- and middle-income countries, offering new hope… making lenacapavir a realistic choice in countries with constrained resources.”

As I've said before, I don't think you can find it in the data that leftists were *responsible* for Kamala's loss (at least, I don't think we can demonstrate that convincingly)

But if you spent last fall telling me there was no difference, I just don't really want to hear from you
Would like to thank all of the leftists who told me there was no difference between Trump and Kamala for this great news

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Over $80k raised in ONE WEEK for COYOTE. Some people say journalism is dead. Journalists keep proving them wrong.

Indie media projects are raising thousands over and over again. It can be done. You can be the one to do it.
"When media illiteracy and misinformation run rampant, an actionable panacea is straightforward: more independent media outlets. COYOTE, a newly announced SF-based news outlet that’s entirely independent and helmed by a group of award-winning journalists, is already off to a running start."

1. Alert, and please share widely. A lawyer at the ACLU has asked me to inform my transgender readers that they should NOT be applying for passports right now - the state department has not issued guidance to comply with the court order and they are urgently trying to get them to do so.
🧵
I am getting multiple reports that the Trump admin is NOT complying with the court order requiring passport updates for transgender people.

Some passport agencies are being told not to give trans people passports with their correct gender marker, for now.
#Trans folks in the US who are reapplying for their passport to be fixed. Don't bother. Just had an emergency appointment today (I travel on the 30th) and they cannot issue me a corrected #passport. All decisions regarding this 'issue' are on hold until they receive guidance from the head office.

the clear message of this administration is that if your city or state didn’t vote for Donald Trump you do not have the right to self-governance and that will be enforced by the United States military

we know what they are
Kristi Noem: "We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city."
