Not gonna post a retrospective of my year cause it's depressing. It's okay to have had a shit year where no major achievements were made. I don't really suspect 2026 will be much different, however.

Not sure if anyone is talking about how these rising GPU and RAM costs across the board will absolutely devastate gaming, and thus, games dev, even further. Hardware is going to be completely priced out of normal people's hands.

My wife had a single line in Kung Fu Panda 17 years ago and still gets checks every few months. Most are way smaller than this, but devs get $0 even though the games we work on will likely be sold for 10+ years soooo yeah.

Someone posted these emu on tumblr, they apparently have a genetic mutation and weren’t purposefully bred for this, but are living their best lives. And I find it fascinating to see, it’s also interesting to see their baby patterns still apparent on their body.
