It's the final day of 2025! Personally, this year was filled with immense highs and incredibly low lows. So much happened that it feels like 2025 lasted more than a decade. But I'd like to share some of my favorite and proudest moments of this year. Join me for one final 2025 thread!

Someone said ballerinas would kill for my feet. I have tiny feet and they are atrophied
Forget insults, what’s the most unhinged *compliment* you’ve ever received?

The newest season of Stranger Things is literally just war crimes. That's it.

This technique literally saved my life as a child every time I went to the ER. My mom was PERSISTENT until I was seen. Especially since ER visits as a kid usually meant hospitalizations for me. It's a technique I use as an adult, today.
Something my aunt, who was a nurse for many years, told me and my family over and over again: Be fucking annoying at the hospital.

Not mean or shitty. Just annoying. Make it impossible for them to ignore your loved one and their pain/problem.

Otherwise you will be forgotten or shoved to the side
A 44 year old Edmonton man died after waiting 8 hours in an ER with severe chest pain.

He knew something was wrong.

While this may be shocking to some, it’s not shocking to the chronically ill.

We know how dangerous ERs can be.

We know how easily you can be overlooked

Every Christmas, my brother, sister-in-law, and I get my mom something related to Goomba. This was my contribution this year.

It's also because my hands don't work
Remember, men, the reason you’re having so much trouble wrapping your gifts tonight is because you’re using too much wrapping paper and you didn’t give yourself enough time.

One final report from me before the holiday – I spoke with disabled players who noted this year's Game Awards caused seizure-like symptoms and migraines. Some reveals like Divinity caused approximately four hours of pain. Read more here:

Literally just applied for a job and was instantly rejected 30 minutes later. The application just opened on Wednesday. AND it was a disability marketing role lmao

Hey! These articles are very dangerous for the disabled community! Did you know that not every disabled person needs to constantly use a wheelchair? Some are ambulatory
