I interviewed several members of the VF community about why VF5: R.E.V.O. matters for @pcgamer.com. VF is so important, and it's so good to see that community get their moment and help them tell that story.

Big thanks to @wes.readonlymemo.com for the opportunity.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. isn't just a PC port of a 19-year-old game: it's the reason a diehard fighting game community can 'finally reach out and play with each other across the world'
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O's arrival on PC marks the start a new era for the series that pioneered 3D fighting games.

The last game I played for work in 2025 was Code Vein II, and it's the first game I'm writing about in 2026 for @shacknews.com. Its combat design is thoughtful and the bosses I played were stellar, but what stuck with me was how emotive the characters were, even when they didn't speak.
Code Vein 2 is a Soulslike with sauce, heart... and a fantastic character creator

Hello everyone. Unfortunately, I was told that I would not be resuming my daily news writer role at Insider Gaming.

So, needless to say, I am open for game journalism work. If you’re looking for a reviewer, previewer, news and/or guide writer, as well as mock reviews, please reach out. Thank you.

Spoilers for Tomb Raider, I suppose:

The game ends with Lara running away from the pyramid at the end of The Mummy Returns, which naturally explodes somehow(?), and escaping on the villains' yacht. What a trip.

Tomb Raider 2 starts with you doing the obstacle course she has built at her mansion.
Watching my wife play the original Tomb Raider and she's fighting a massive skeleton/meat torso and there are meat hallways and robots? I truly did not understand how weird this series used to be.

I'm going to try to do productive things today. The best way to do that will be to get off of here and do what I can. Final thought:

The people and systems that made this possible will not save us. A system is what it does. It is working as intended. We will have to save ourselves and each other.

Make sure you take some of the anger you’re feeling right now and use it to contact your officials to demand impeachment now.

It’s basically the least we can possibly do in opposition to this, which IMO makes it mandatory.
