Just found out my wife might be losing her job, so I'm desperately searching for work. Contract, full-time, freelance, whatever. Press, PR, consulting, anything. I have 16 years of editorial experience and have been writing about games for 13. Reviews, news, previews, guides, etc. RTs appreciated.

Well, out of nowhere, I’ve been let go once again from ComicBook.com.

This is a pretty sudden shock, especially since I busted my ass working there. I’m pretty devastated and don’t know what I’m going to do.

Please let me know if anyone has any work for me, thank you

Hello y’all. I’m truly overwhelmed and grateful for all the reposts and support here. It really does mean a lot. Been a rough one. I am among many looking for work today and I hope all of us can find a work place to call home soon.
Hello everyone. Unfortunately, I was told that I would not be resuming my daily news writer role at Insider Gaming.

So, needless to say, I am open for game journalism work. If you’re looking for a reviewer, previewer, news and/or guide writer, as well as mock reviews, please reach out. Thank you.

I knew Patrick from afar on LinkedIn and on here and he seemed like an incredible person and writer. Much love and support to his family and many friends.
The family of Patrick Dane has made public today the devastating news that their beloved son and brother was in a car accident on December 27th and is no longer with us. His father and stepmother, who were also in the vehicle, are in critical condition, but stable.

2025 was a year of ups and downs. I grew a lot as a freelancer, though I was thrown into the deep end after being let go. I don’t like getting personal, but I struggled (and still am struggling) with confidence in what I do. I’ve made strides with new (and dream) bylines and reviews.
