i keep accidentally clicking on the AI mode on various websites/apps and getting really annoyed because it is never what i wanted. and they keep intentionally putting it in places where i'm going to get tricked into clicking it, like replacing a useful button that was there previously

Obviously small news outlets need money to get going, and the ones we have now can't replace newspapers, but they also cost a lot less once you take out all the inflated exec and "star" salaries, expensive real estate, dumb tech brained gambits, and, most importantly, infinite profit motive!
