New data shows the world is embracing renewable energy. Canada can’t follow Trump’s fossil fuel obsession
North America at risk of becoming an island of fossil fuels in an electrifying world. Canada should take note and choose a better path.

If you make $100,000 a year (not bad), it will take you 10 MILLION years to earn a trillion dollars.

If you make a million dollars a year (wow!), it'll still take you a million years to earn a trillion dollars.

Oil and gas trumps climate action in brutal federal budget
The budget makes clear that fossil fuel production for export is a central pillar of this government’s economic strategy — and that it won’t let climate measures get in the way.

Our polling place was pretty quiet when we went. I'd say with the additional paperwork and the new (ancient) ballots it took at least twice as long to vote as last election.
I’m seeing estimates of it taking an average of 20 minutes per person for voters to get and cast their ballots in this municipal election. That’s not including lineup times. That more time than it’s taken me to vote in the past 3 elections combined. Thanks for nothing Danielle Smith.

🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.

This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..

This is the best political news I’ve seen in a very long time — so please pass it on👇

Each state can limit Citizens United in their own state & they don’t have to wait for other states to do it.

Three key points in my recent gov't testimony about Canada's climate efforts:
1) The 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan, though bolder than past plans, was not sufficient
2) That plan is not being sufficiently implemented
3) Good climate policy is in the long-term economic interests of Canada

Thanks for nothing Justin Trudeau. sorry you didn’t have a backbone to stand up to the Liberal establishment. “My choice to make and I made it” yup ya did. #Fail

It's Nobel Prize week! A good time to remember that the economics prize was created by Swedish bankers in 1968 (67 years after the 5 original Nobel prizes) against the wishes of the Nobel family, partly to legitimize neoclassical economics in the public eye and partly to help banks avoid regulation.

It might be time to resign while you can still salvage some of it.
At tonight’s “consultation”…

When a high school kid tried to raise concerns about the teachers strike, Bruce McAllister cut the kids mic and then suggested his parents should have beaten him more.
