If they are not worldies, they don't count
A lot of green shoots there. Against a Rotherham team that had conceded 3 goals in their last 6 League One games, Reading produced a good number of shots in the box.

Classic that #readingfc equalized through a long range rocket of course, but this is more repeatable for my money.

It will cost you nothing to share my work but it could change my year!

Tis' the season for sales and corporate greed, I am just your friendly neighborhood LOI guy, a one man band making work about things we all love.

You know where I am if you need any seasonal gifts 😇

I wish the AL MVP voters had listened to @thatbootlegguy.bsky.social. My Big Dumper deserved better. His narrative was so much better than Judge's irritating "I'm really really really good at baseball" schtick
I always love how melodramatic people get over WAR lol Jesus Christ just ignore it. No one cares
It’s weird to see a former MLB player say “I don’t care about defense at all”

Tomorrow is the last chance to get one of these.

I need a bit of time to choose the books and get them here, so I can wrap them and get them posted out.

I hope you like the idea (thanks to everyone who's bought one and/or shared this on Bluesky)

Who’s the coolest person with whom you share a birthday?

I’ve got Coolio, Chuck D, Jason Momoa, and Hermann Melville.

I enjoy advanced analytics, but WAR doesn't capture the value of those 10 seasons in an aesthetically pleasing way. I don't want a replacement level player to be deemed essentially worthless. Leary would have done some great things in those 10 seasons
Endlessly fascinated by dudes like Leary. Pitched for 13 seasons. His best three seasons (1986, 1988, 1989) totaled 9.3 bWAR combined. Other 10 seasons, 2.7 bWAR combined 🤷🏾
one of my great memories as a kid was tim leary getting a walk-off hit in extra innings -- as a pinch-hitter! -- to beat the giants

This was Jelly Belly Jelly Beans for many years for me
It is very funny that this Pope is just going to get jerseys from now on. Everyone decided that's what this Pope likes and that is it. It's like if your grandmother got you a puzzle for Christmas one year and you said you liked it so your entire extended family is like "oh that's the puzzle kid"
Spike Lee just blessed Pope Leo with a custom Knicks jersey during his visit to the Vatican, just one week after the Pope was gifted a custom Chicago Bulls one.

Grandmas are the BEST
Royals always do a good job with the giveaways. Hoping I can get out there for a couple of games next year. This tho is diabolical lol. Jalen wanted one when they first became popular and I refused to spend $50 on a performative oven mitt.

So, he asked grandma and she bought him two.
