When I was 23, I saw a bunch of really cute velvet furniture on the side of the road, totally nice. Took it in and a year later a friend’s new gf came to my house and it turns out I’d stolen her entire living room while she was moving.

If you want to know who took all of your money, it's the people with all of the money. Famously, we know that's people working in child care.

Follow the recipe. Don't mess with the recipe. Do what the recipe says.

Other people: "Why doesn't my food taste like I expected?"
Me: "Did you follow the recipe?"
Other people: "Erm, maybe..."
Me: ...
Family just refuses to allow the guacamole I just made to sit for the allotted time before cramming it into their moufs. Who the f ck doesn't respect recipe integrity?

Found a mug with a hairline crack. Thought I'd see how cracked it was and pulled the mug apart. Cut my finger (not very deep) and then fainted (friend caught me).
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

I had never heard this song before. It's amazing. I want to play it all the time. It's like being 17 (years young) again. Music rarely grabs me like this anymore, so this is wonderful.

Also, same feelings.
I just want one year, one damn year! where this song doesn’t hit.
Really feeling the chorus of This Year today.

There are not many wins on this chart. Ouch.
Here's an early look at the ZiPS x @fangraphs.com depth chart for the next team to run in ZiPS, the Colorado Rockies.

Before we get properly into the swing of the New Year, let's take a look at the bestselling books of 2025 in our shop in Swindon...

We had a lovely visit from Nikki May, helping This Motherless Land to 20th place, plus The Wall in 18th was Pedro's favourite book of the year.

When you get the reputation of being the guy with the encouraging words on New Year's Eve, it can start to come through as a little pressure -- what if the situation on the ground is worse than usual? what if people are more scared than they usually are, and with cause? what use are good vibes then?
