The President is not legitimate.
His orders are not legitimate (on top of being unconstitutional).
Those who follow and/or enforce his orders are the enemies of the United States of America.
This is why I canceled my homeowner's policy. I'm tired of my premiums funding the lavish lifestyles of those lucky stiffs whose houses burn down.

He can primary either Warner or Kaine next time around.
LMAO Jay Jones is now at 53 percent in Virginia.

Yeah, I think we know the answer to that.
Ro Khanna, who has called for Chuck Schumer to be replaced, says the only reason other Democrats aren't calling for it is because it would "offend a lot of donors."

"Are we gonna be beholden to the donors that have gotten us two terms of Donald Trump, or are we gonna listen to people?"

ACA was the compromise. If Republicans want to flip the table and start over, we cannot negotiate from the compromise. Single payer is the demand. They can negotiate us back to the ACA again if they want.

The next No Kings rally is canceled. A No Appeasers rally has been scheduled in its place.
Agree.

Sen Hassan, asked what will happen if Republicans don't carry out the deal, "Well, shame on them."

This is not what people were mobilizing for on Oct 18.

Dan Marino in 1984 was a goddamn alien.
Matthew Stafford has now thrown at least four touchdown passes in three straight games.

Here's every such streak since the merger:

Trump is 30 points underwater. Dems swept the special elections. People know the GOP is responsible for the shutdown. So the Dem Senators pulled out their big guns... and shot themselves in the foot.

ngl I've never once found a topic that I wanted to ask it about- either I'm interested in the thing and want to read up on it properly or I'm not in which case why waste time on it at all
Hands up if you've never used Chat GPT ✋

(I feel like Dozer and Tank in The Matrix right now - at first I didn't use it because, rather ironically, I'm lazy and stubborn (peak Taurus energy there) - literally no, don't make me use the new thing I don't wanna. Now I'm glad I didn't 😅)
Probably a good way to tell right now if the job you’re applying for is run by absolute dumbfucks is to ask if they’re using AI.

You can get away with lying about almost anything except the price of groceries*.

(*it's an old fashioned word. you don't hear it much any more.)
Trump: "The reason I don't want to talk about affordability is because everybody knows it's far less expensive under Trump than it was under Sleepy Joe Biden and the prices are way down."

This is a terrible offer that makes Republicans look even more blameworthy if they turn it down. Which of course they did.

I don't know whether to credit Schumer for playing chess here, or be furious that he would cave like this. But I know him mor for caving than for chess.
SCHUMER is on the floor now making this offer to end the shutdown:

Clean CR
Bipartisan "minibus" of approps bills
1-year ACA funding extension
Bipartisan cmte to negotiate on health care

"This is a reasonable offer that reopens the government, deals with health care affordability."

I met my wife when I was 34. If I'd met her at 24, there's no way in hell I'd be married to her.
Does nobody over the age 30 remember what it's like to deal with people in their early 20's? That includes me, by the way, I'm sure I was insufferable.

Good.
The Pentagon has issued official guidance to the military that none of the NFL's annual Veterans Day “Salute to Service” celebrations can take place at games this November because of a lack of funding as a result of the government shutdown.

November is usually filled with NFL “Salute to Service” events that feature the military — but with no government funding, it’s a no-go this year.

In the spirit of renaming Mt. McKinley to Denali, the next Democratic President should rename Lake Superior to Gitchee Gumee.
I am unironically here for the Edmund Fitzgerald zeitgeist. Half my IG timeline is Fitz memes and tributes. People are learning about Gordon Lightfoot and how Lake Superior hates you, personally, and wants to do you a violence.
