super excited to be part of the @multitude.productions collective and their amazing team.

the idea is really simple: let's talk about not just the middle ages themselves, but how americans specifically think about and remember the Middle Ages.

From today's Chronicle of Higher Ed briefing. I am *never* an advocate of cutting programs. But I am curious to see if there will be the same type of "students aren't majoring in this, so let's cut the program" discourse around computer science as there always is for the arts and humanities.

Anyway
one of the most depressing things of the last decade or so is realizing how many friends/ colleagues/ leaders are (a) actually sympathetic to bad faith fascistic attacks (on public goods, education, vulnerable peoples, etc.), or (b) just simply not up to the moment we find ourselves in

People really want a parliamentary system where one doesn’t exist
Let’s be clear: Chuck Schumer is the one ending this shutdown, no matter how the votes read.

Chuck Schumer is claiming that he’s voting no, while letting other Senators (Fetterman, Kaine, King, etc) do HIS dirty work.

He must be removed from his leadership & primaried for the sake of this country
