NEW: President Trump's pardon of his alleged 2020 co-conspirators was less about shielding them from past crimes, his adversaries say, than about signaling to others that he has their back if he needs them again in 2026 or 2028.

I’m sure this is gonna happen just around the same time he releases his Obamacare replacement plan.

The 15 year car loan post was deleted so it might be fake.
If you’re seeing this viral claim that Trump is working on 15-year car loans, it’s fake.

Trump dumps dumpling dumpers?

Trump take bucatini.

Imagine pissing off half your fans and making them never be willing to step foot in your stadium.

@davidaldridgedc.bsky.social says it should go without saying that the Commanders should not name their soon-to-be-built stadium after President Trump, as he would reportedly like.

A new stadium named after President Trump? The Commanders have better options
Naming their next stadium after Trump, or any other modern pol, would be a cosmically bad decision for Josh Harris and his ownership group.

It's also virtually certain that Dem's efforts to restore ACA subsidies were not going to work. They had no leverage to negotiate because the opposite side doesn't care how much or how long Americans in either group were hurting.

I feel like this needs to be said, bc some big accounts are missing it.

The people feeling the pain of shutdown:

Govt workers furloughed or working for free (Lots in VA)
Flights (note fight over private v. commercial @katieporteroc.bsky.social won)
40M losing SNAP

v

20M on ACA subsidies

Dammit. I’m not ready for winter boots yet. It’s too early.

FWIW a lot of people are now taking on the Trump position that the Tuesday elections were about the shutdown specifically, as opposed to a more general repudiation of Trump. I'm skeptical.

At least we had this bsky.app/profile/bria...
Trump just got massively booed and flipped off by the crowd at the Commanders game.

Better that than the airport. I can more easily avoid the stadium.

Oh, thank God, a commercial.

Good thing the Lions are winning by a lot because I don’t want to have to pay attention to this game right now.
