A lot of white liberals are like "fuck the South" because they're FROM THE SOUTH IN THE FIRST PLACE. People get all huffy with me on this and then get real quiet when I tell them I was born in DC, my mom's from TN and I spent at least a third of the year in the South through my entire childhood.
I understand why a lot of white liberals are like, fuck the south, because they think about the people in power who are mostly white conservatives. But that is only because of Jim Crow, voter suppression, a lack of real funding for Dems there

I put the odds at roughly 50%
Aaaaaanyway, if we're in a timeline where major newspapers have had Trump CSAM since before the 2016 election but never published it for reasons like the ones we've been going over in this thread, then I wish to register a complaint

Lolita and Das Parfum so everyone knows I’m a republican
alright let’s get something more pleasant going. what two books would you leave out on your coffee table so a reporter can mention you have them. doesn’t matter if you’ve read them. for me it’s Pale Fire (which I did read) and Ulysses (got like 15% of the way in)

"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

You know you could investigate this right now lol
Do we know Landon told anyone that he was having this convo with Epstein? We do not! But let’s say an editor knew. Then what? At most, it would be the beginning of an investigation. Would Landon be the reporter to do it? Probably not! You see he’s begging Epstein for specifics & doesn’t get them

the NYTimes published the content of two check boxes Mamdani put on an application for a college he didn’t attend
The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

Oopsie doodles guys, we all hallucinated the Times reporter using his company email chatting with Epstein and then sitting on it for a decade! We all have to be nicer to the Times 😥 How else will we learn about the trans menace lurking around every corner, or Podesta's risotto?
As a former member of NYT’s finance team & the co-author of this story exposing the relationship between Epstein & Bill Gates as well as one on Epstein & JPMorgan, I am really frustrated to see people claiming that NYT sat on publishable info about Trump and Epstein 🧵 www.nytimes.com/2019/10/12/b...

It is hard to get over that the Q-Anon folks spent years feverishly looking in pizza parlors for the cabal of rich, elite pedophiles and it turns out THERE WAS ONE, right in front of their noses, which they failed to identify and instead voted for three times in a row.

the worst people in the world all know each other this is insane
So, uh, the Jed Rubenfeld referenced here was disciplined by Yale Law for sexually harassing students. He's married to Amy Chua who among other things took to the pages of the NYT to defend Kavanaugh when he was under fire for sexually harassment. Ken Starr, well we know. This is just incredible.

The United States taken down by the papists. Incredible. The worst people in history vindicated.
Was Project 2025 in fact an Opus Dei project? Of course it was. And the key tie in was the man responsible for Project 2025, Kevin Roberts, an Opus Dei acolyte.

The government, which is required to fund this program, and has the money to do so, is refusing to do it because they don’t want to.

This isn’t a “standard and unremarkable” situation, and there’s literally no reason to keep giving the WH everything it wants in court over and over. Remember laws?

From Bovino's deposition: (1) he calls protestors "violent" if they articulate views hostile to ICE, even if no violence is manifested; (2) he instructs his forces to attack and arrest protestors who express "hyperbolic comments," which is to say, criticism of ICE and Bovino.
