Anyway, it's hard not to view this in terms of gender in addition to race, like fash more targeting the "soft" cities as opposed to the reputably "hard" cities like Oakland, and then being more livid and obsessed in a stalkery way when that softness refuses to roll over for you and punches back.

I am sharing this with my “Stop saying Abolish ICE because I believe that ICE can be salvaged” friends. How do you train meanness out of folks who joined ICE because it allows them to be mean with impunity? ICE needs to be taken down and replaced with something that respects American values.

It was the same each time: armed men racing out of a blacked-out SUV, seizing a screaming or fleeing pedestrian, and pulling them into the car without any attempt to even learn their identity.
