one thing that doesn’t get enough coverage or comment with regards to this administration is it how much it hates the actually existing united states

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

Many Tech people are burnt out NOT because they're over-worked. But bc it's impossible to admit you've wasted the best years sitting crouched over a laptop, and the whole point was only to make other people sit crouched over a screen and click on ads. This is tougher than "burnout".
December 8, 2025 at 7:45 PM
it's no coincidence that all Tech people who've been doing it for a while could imagine a life far away from anything digital. Not only are they (we) aware of how toxic the things are we build for society, but also the fact that everyone is like them boring robot who thinks every "City is a Tree".

Nobody in Tech has ever been not a douche. Today the litmus test if you should date them is ask for their a gihub account and if the answer is yes, brace yourself for an unfuckable personality, and a believe that they're better than everyone (despite all their un/diagnosed personality disorders).
It's impressive that Big Tech was like: We aren't douchy enough. What if we made asshole intelligence and burned up some of the earth's power and water faster?
