What a weird day
for days we got the "Showdown with Socialism" buildup only to get the payoff of Trump essentially saying "wow this socialist guy fuckin rules. I, on the other hand, am a fascist". what a country. what an era

donald trump endorsed zohran mamdani before chuck schumer lmao

In all honesty, I think what happened is that Zohran started talking about housing construction, and it's the one thing that Trump actually has a genuine, human interest in, and now they're friends forever.

None of their fascist ideas as popular and Trump is in the weakest position he’s been in since he came down that escalator 10 years ago and unleashed his personality disorder on the rest of society. .

Push back. Hard.
The Coast Guard reversed its 'swastikas aren't all that bad' policy just hours after the Washpost broke the story.

It's both surprising, and good, to see that one government agency these days is capable of being embarrassed, and changing course quickly.

In reversal, Coast Guard again classifies swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The new order came hours after The Post reported the service would instead classify such symbols as “potentially divisive” under guidelines set for release next month.

Then I read the subheadline and... bro, what?

This is not fun to think about.
It’s fun to think about the surgeon who will botch your surgery 20 years from now and what he’s doing at this moment. He just ran all his homework through ChatGPT. He just read that article about vaccines and autism at the CDC website. He just watched an Instagram video about the moon landing hoax.

Well THAT is unacceptable.
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

For me, Trump’s unhinged and savage use of the epithet “Piggy” triggered a middle school memory of reading Lord of the Flies in which a sane, rational, and sickly character named Piggy with whom I identified is murdered by a mob of angry brutalizing boys.
I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

Trump, Clinton, Bannon, Summers and the wealthy, powerful people on both sides of the aisle who keep us divided being part of the same pedophile friend group should be eye-opening to the people who still believe our struggle is Right vs Left, and not the Top vs the rest of us.

Child marriage is legal in 34 states across the US. That’s almost 70% of this nation.

How about we end that?

Those of us old enough to witness what Monica Lewinsky went through know we should be better than that by now, but this prolonged adolescence thing we are living in might have other plans.
So many vulnerable people were hurt, harassed and raped by these ghouls and now—I’m worried—it’s gonna become hehe haha lurid internet circus instead of a long overdue moral reckoning. I’m scared of who we all are becoming. That man has brought us ALL low.
