This is not true. The singularity drive used on the Miyazaki doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Romulan warp drive, which also used a gravitational singularity to generate the energy needed for warp travel. We have no idea if there is a link between the two (and I doubt it, tbh)

This is not true. The singularity drive used on the Miyazaki doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Romulan warp drive, which also used a gravitational singularity to generate the energy needed for warp travel. We have no idea if there is a link between the two (and I doubt it, tbh)

To be honest, things like this just make me realize how much Dems handicap themselves by pretending partisanship isn't the driving force behind American politics. It is...sad, really.

i think this is what drives me nuts. people talk about how, say, the UN was founded by "starry eyed idealists" who didn't understand "reality." the truth is that the UN was founded by those who had just fought and *won* the bloodiest war in human history.

As a child protection professional, I can tell you the death penalty is NOT an awesome solution to child sexual abuse. Most children are abused by family members; they will not report if their family members will die as a result.

I always figured this was uncontroversial, but why bother listening to folks who have been doing the work for years? It's far better to ignore any experience and pretend that no one has ever engaged in protests before. (/s)
With all due respect, there’s an established discipline among activists that forbids communication with even the press as an individual, far less law enforcement. This in itself is a major and dangerous breach already, it’s not hypothetical.

People are really missing that the reason why MAGA can retain and grow its people is because of their well funded reality tunnel.
Right now negative polarization is helping boost Democrats, this isn’t an infinite resource. You need to also build up the infrastructure to maintain and grow your base
