Across the street from where ICE shot and killed Silverio Villegas González two weeks ago, a small gathering is ongoing. Folks are cleaning up the memorial site.

Just awful. People (like Ryan mentioned in the article, who is living out of his van) have been staying awake all night for weeks keeping watch over the memorial for this exact reason.

I wish the US had snap elections, but we do not. The system is literally the 1789 Beta test version of Germany’s Basic Law with none of the innovations that make German democracy more functional.
If democrats are so shit at ruling with a slim majority then I suggest you declare the government failed and have new elections
