In an interview with a Palestinian asylum-seeker he told me he turned off his phone & wrapped it to avoid cyber surveillance tech, which was developed by Israel & tested on him & which has just been bought by ICE to use on Americans.

"None of us are free until all are free" is not a slogan.

"For my friends, everything via the the emergency docket; for my enemies, the law."
Since April 4, #SCOTUS has issued 15 rulings on 17 emergency applications filed by Trump (three birthright citizenship apps were consolidated).

It has granted relief to Trump ... in all 15 rulings.

It has written majority opinions in only 3.

Today's order is the 7th with no explanation *at all.*
Here we go again: Over an acerbic dissenting opinion by Justice Sotomayor (joined in full by Justices Kagan and Jackson), #SCOTUS, with no explanation, grants a stay in the Department of Education RIFs case—effectively clearing the way for the Trump administration to dismantle much of the agency:

Ultimately, that leaves me, as a customer, wondering: Is it worth having this cute little phrase written on my cup if I knew that the author was forced to do it?"

E-scooters aren’t really viable as a for-profit form of transportation (just like every other way of getting around) so I hope cities are thinking about buying the systems so they can both expand them and make them less annoying for non-scooterers
Safety aside, local authorities (municipalities/city councils to the US), the providers & some riders need to do more to make these clean forms of transport not be marred by them haphazardly left on pavements causing issues for the visually impaired & those with mobility issues.
E-scooters are remarkably safe: Seattle had fewer than 300 injuries in more than 4 million rides.

The story of the Epstein saga is not one of a secret elite pedophile conspiracy, it's that rich people were taking advantage of vulnerable teenage girls, it wasn't a secret, and *absolutely nobody cared*. Which tends to be the story with all these cases---the powers that be simply aren't interested.
I don’t think the U.S upper class are pedophile conspirators in the “toddlers in a basement” way: I think some powerful men get a conspiratorial thrill from the idea of fucking seventeen year olds who appear “consenting” but are actually being supplied to them at a party.
