Men aren't more lonely than women but the loneliness epidemic is real. Millions are in isolation, it's capitalist individualism, & disability is isolating. Lots of folks are really alone. But it's not gendered, that framing is patriarchy, babying men like their unhappiness is everyone else's burden.
According to Pew Research and a few other stats, the loneliness epidemic isn’t disproportionately affecting men over other genders.
I have a feeling that men have been the squeaky wheel over the last few years.
If anything, we have a loneliness epidemic because more people are (barely) surviving.

One of the things I teach my students is that it is perfectly fine for a clearance lawyer to know the extremely complicated steps you have to go through to view actual child porn because then you can prove that your client didn't do that and therefore wasn't viewing child porn.

One Patuxent River Pumpkinseed has been traumatized. And another fish of some unknown species was partially traumatized. I lost it before I landed it. No picture of the Pumpkinseed as I lost control of when I was unhooking and it fell back in the water.
At least I've had some fly fishing success!

Fun fact: 229 people have run for president since 1788. Of them, 153 (66.81%) ran once, lost, & never ran again. For most candidates, "wanting to be president" is just a phase that goes away after a year or two.
