The man with the plan and the pocket comb.

Joe Biden was a good President who did good things, and Kamala Harris would’ve been even better.

Here: politics, baseball, Tolkien memes. Sometimes in that order.

The president of Venezuela must be held legally accountable for his crimes, which the Supreme Court forbids to happen for the president of the US, who recently pardoned the president of Honduras for similar crimes.

you cannot blockade a country and bomb its capital cities and capture its leader without being at war with it, is the thing
Are we at war with Venezuela?!?

I don't know. You don't know either.

It sure would be nice to have a legitimate Pentagon press corps right about now.

90M opted out and don't care.

GOP leads the Executive branch
GOP leads the Legislation
GOP leads the Judicial

So, we are here because of the voters.
Trump is a damned war criminal.

Where is our Congress??? John Roberts & his SCOTUS have done so much damage by declaring a president immune from our laws.

As a citizen I do not agree with this Venezuelan war of Trump's.

Stay focused. This is all to avoid the Epstein files, videos and photos.

What gets me most about the snide remarks about rainbow capitalism is that the most immediate beneficiaries were *workers*

So many people could only imagine it from the perspective of being consumers, as if LGBT people working in those companies was an afterthought.

Fucking no.

If there is to be war in Venezuela, it'll be fought for the same reason as the Caribbean murderfest: neither ideology nor resources, and certainly not drugs. It is for the content. The thrill of violence and domination against those who are deemed deserving targets, which means brown people. (1/5)

Reminder that impeachment requires:

* Mike Johnson to allow a vote
* At least some House Republicans to vote in favor
* John Thune to allow a trial and vote
* A lot of Senate Republicans to vote to convict

Republicans are the obstacle. They’ve always been the obstacle.

it's so grotesque that many can't stomach it but they're doing this because they want to kill people for fun

everything about oil or drugs or regime change is post hoc rationalization for the fact that they want to push red buttons and kill people

The Justice Department had a chance to show backbone on Jeffrey Epstein. Instead, it offered opacity, delay, and a reminder that accountability still has a VIP section.

Rural dissatisfaction with politics is a real “my brother in Christ you made the sandwich” deal

You have the senate, house gerrymandering, and the electoral college, all this outsized influence, and you still struggle? Yeah that’s on you bud. Personal responsibility
I wonder if there was a president that exerted a ton of political and economic capital to “rebuild support for internationalism in the country’s lagging regions”

I think I said it here once before, but when my (brilliant Trump-hating) late mother developed dementia, she continued to ace “cognitive tests” even as she believed she was leading parallel lives in two different houses 40 years apart. We had to beg her doctor to trust us that something was wrong.
Guess how many cognitive exams they gave my dad in the twelve months after he was referred to a dementia specialist by his doctor. After each one, they assured him that he “did great.”

One way I know that viral post about working as a programmer at a delivery “gig” company is bullshit: they claim the term “human assets” is used to describe drivers in “the database schema”.

99% chance the real table name is something like “people_2” and can’t change without breaking the whole app.
