Yes, Amen to this. My City Councilmember and State Senator are doing far more than the Governor who is freed of the baggage of having to run again for office, so I'd really like to see more from the top. But boy am I grateful to be represented locally by Elliott and Doron.
One thing I’d like to see is my senators and governor every day on tv at 5pm holding a press conference with video of every documented abuse that ICE is doing. Curate all of the witnessing we’re doing and show it to the press.
Local parents groups asking if adults can ride school buses to help protect children from ICE after a special ed bus got stopped this morning. Like a Dirty Harry movie except the villain in the federal government.

Yep. MPD officer once pulled a gun on me in my own driveway in Powderhorn as dispatcher on the phone told me not to put my phone down. Officer with gun yelled ‘DROP WHATS IN YOUR HAND’.
One thing I didn't fully appreciate until I sat on a jury and reviewed body cam footage for myself, is how cops yell contradictory instructions at people like "Don't move" "Put your hands up" "Get the fuck out of here" "Keep your hands where I can see them" etc. all screamed at your face with guns
