Yesterday, these incompetent fucks were just going door-to-door in a neighborhood near my house at 8:30 in the morning. School buses were driving through trying to pick up kids, people were out walking their dogs, and people were taking out their trash cans.

We’re a community. And communities are made up of different roles. I remind myself that I am out there providing support, shelter, food, and infrastructure and that is enough. I am not lesser than because i’m not physically able to protest.
Not everyone can participate in protests. That doesn’t mean they aren’t part of the resistance. Protesting is incredibly important, but so is providing food, shelter, supplies, community support, mutual aid, infrastructure and communication networks, resources

What’s your fav Roman object story to tell? Mine is of course that the Meroë head was placed under the stairs of a the temple of Victory in Meroë, the capital city of Nubia, likely so worshippers stepped on the Roman head as they walked on them. Now that is a metaphor. warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/cla...
