Hello newskies! I'm Dan, a game designer currently hailing from the Seattle area. I have lots of schipperkes, ADHD, and many (mostly crafty) hobbies in varying states of hyperfocus or neglect.

Incredibly misleading headline. Baker said it could be a "good thing" by reminding us of the difference between content and art, and that we don't need to fear it as a replacement for artists because it CAN'T MAKE ART.

Yeah maybe we wasted a ton of investor money and materials worsened the world, but at least our business concept was complete bullshit and doomed to fail.

Sometimes I wonder why the prior owners sold this house... Maybe it's the back yard's tendency to flood. Or the freight train not too far away. Or the power lines up the hill. Or the neighbor with boyfriend problems.

One thing my woodworking proto-hobby has taught me is that plywood, MDF, and veneer don't exist exclusively as cost-cutting measures.
- plywood/MDF are dimensionally stable (don't expand/contract seasonally)
- quality veneer is real wood and a sustainable way to work with rare or difficult wood.
- plywood/MDF are dimensionally stable (don't expand/contract seasonally)

And I want all-wood furniture built to withstand kaiju attacks. Like little Lego pieces if Godzilla steps on them.
