Hello yes hi. You might remember me from other social media networks Stormo or some variant thereof.

Anyway I’m a girl now so that’s cool.

I’m currently unemployed, looking for work either writing or in customer service (but I really want to move away from that).

We can be friends if you like.

My funniest thing about 2025 in a purely Australian context is that Barbaby Joyce was pushed out of the Nats by the force of public opinion (imagine that!), and joined Hanson's One Nation where failure goes to be fossilised.

Anyway I’m set up for NYE. Chocolate, Push and Stranger Things.

For me, 2025 was a rough year. I lost an aunt, my mum's partner died, and my Dad was treated for cancer and related issues. I broke up with my long-term partner of 15 years and, at times, I wondered if I would even see the end of this year.

I'm doing okay now, but I hope 2026 will be better.

Super Mario Bros. had to run on a system with a 1Mhz-ish CPU and 2kb of RAM. The GPU could only display 16 colours of a total pallette of 64.

I own MIDI controllers with more processing power and graphics capability.
super mario brothers for nes was 40 kilobytes in total.

what are we doing.

Well that was dramatic! Crazy guy came into our house, took all his clothes off and started riding the exercise bike naked. Smashed a window, didn't steal anything.

Shout out to the QPS officers who came quickly and dealt with the situation appropriately, professionally and very well.

1995, studying in Prague for a year. I went to Bucharest by myself, fully intending to shell out for a hotel since there wasn’t a lot of backpacker-level tourist infrastructure yet. Showed up to the hotel to check in & the desk clerk took one look at me and said “You can’t stay here.”
I would like to hear about a time someone, a stranger even, was very kind to you without any prompting, ulterior motive, or strings attached.

After my son was born, my wife vowed to get good at video games so she can play with him, so for Christmas, I loaded an ambernic with a bunch of classics and gave her a custom case with a 20-page manual with instructions and a "Game of The Month" for both of us to play.

"A smile best suits a hero." Tearing up just thinking about it.
I'm going to go ahead & ask this because it started a great discussion over on Reddit: what's the first time that FFXIV made you break down in tears?

I felt like a dunce when I finally used it for the art in NEURODIVER. Beforehand I was just using Photoshop for my pixel art with the original ROM. Everything was easier. Everything. If you want to get into pixel art, or want an easier time with it, use Aseprite. You'll never regret the purchase.
ATTENTION ARTISTS AND ANY ASPIRING PIXEL ARTISTS!!!

Aseprite is on sale on Steam!! It's a Pixel art program for art/animating and I highly recommend! (I have almost 700 hours in it!) It's $13 and a one time payment for an excellent program!!

It's so funny watching the never ending tragedies my toddler has to suffer through. Like tonight he didn't have any pyjamas with sharks on them and this was the end of the world.

Wake up babe, a new piece of erotic literature from the "my teenage son's erections last two minutes longer than mine" guy just dropped.
I am begging everyone on here to read this new post by Bryan Johnson — the super rich tech guy who is now doing the “never die” protocol.

I need to talk about it with you all.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
