Yeah the issue was that it didn't detect it even though it was enabled. I rebooted and it fixed the problem.

Okay so rebooting seems to have solved the issue.

Yes but no other CoD multiplayer has ever required this, so...

(Also I have Windows 11 installed and AFAIK that requires it so...)

Honestly dropping them isn't as much an issue, because the screens are soft plastic instead of hard glass, and the glass on the shell is relatively easy to replace.

What kills the screen is dust and stuff getting in the open parts of the hinge. If that's well protected then you're golden.

Honestly, as a former repairer of those things, I'm amazed its still going. Very fragile phones.

(If I was recommending an Android phone for video/creative use, I would recommend the Google Pixel phones. They have good cameras, decent hardware and tend to be more up-to-date than other Android phones.)

Yeah that's fine, I'm not trying to push iPhone, it's just that most of the really good phone-based creative apps are iPhone only.

Also, Huawei phones run on older processors these days due to sanctions, so a new Huawei phone may not be an upgrade over your current phone.

You can buy Huawei phones in Australia (there was a store at The Glen last I checked) but they're a pain to get parts for, so if you need repairs it might be difficult/expensive.

The best phone for content creation is the iPhone. It's where all the good apps are (Filmic etc) and it has ProRes.
