The double pardon really gives away the game. Adriana Camberos started her second round of fraud just weeks after her first pardon. She was charged, convicted, imprisoned…and pardoned again. Trump supporters are permitted unlimited crimes, while the rest of us can get beaten by the secret police.
President Trump quietly issued clemency grants this week, including to a California woman he had pardoned once before and a man whose daughter had donated millions to a Trump super PAC.

The Minneapolis AFL-CIO calling for a general strike is a big deal and we should treat it like a big deal.

Also it's a good idea. LFG

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

This map exposes the Greenland lie.

The US used to have a massive military footprint here.

Today, they operate just ONE base.

If Trump were actually worried about Russian vessels, he would simply open more bases, which Denmark allows

I don’t think this is hyperbole.
The President of the United States is trying to economically damage and coerce NATO allies because they don't agree with his imperialist ambition to seize a NATO territory by force.

Donald Trump is the most egregious traitor and saboteur of the West in history.

This is actually the really simple story of the collapse of American democracy. You can explain America’s constitutional collapse in a single coherent sentence:
The Founders assumed that Members of Congress would jealously and zealously guard the powers and prerogatives of their branch of government against the grasping of an overweening Executive, and instead we got this supine GOP majority that yearns to lick the boot.
I would like to think the Mad King proclaiming “I will continue to illegally raise taxes on the American people until the NATO alliance collapses” would be the type of statement to cause Congress to act, but I’m not sure there’s any red line the GOP Congress has anymore.

Trump says he'll impose a 10% tariff (rising to 25% in June) on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Finland, because they've sent people to Greenland, until the US can buy Greenland.

This is an answer nobody would ever accept from a democrat. A democrat who gave this answer would be ruthlessly mocked until the end of time. Yet Trump and Republicans get away with it without so much as a follow-up.
Q: Can you explain how your healthcare plan will affect premiums?

TRUMP: It's a tremendous thing. It's called the great healthcare plan. And we're gonna get tremendous, uh, reductions through, uh, if you look at prescription drugs, they're gonna come down by numbers that have never been seen before

This is a very smart point. And it is echoed by what I have been told about how things happened this time around in Portland as well in the aftermath of 2020.
One thing that people don't understand is that the community base opposing ICE is extremely committed to avoiding anything that could trigger rioting, I think largely because of the 2020 experience. Trump thinks he can redo 2020 but shoot the protesters this time, but Minneapolis isn't the same.
Ironically a lot of the base of Minnesota's activitists' response was laid as a result of the riots following Chauvin's murder of George Floyd. That's part of why I feel like this administration doesn't understand who they're messing with. The Twin Cities got organized in 2020 and remains so.

There is real rancor in the caucus with him; this is an achievable goal.

Call your senators, ask your candidates - do not support Schumer for leader.
