📢 PROTEST the Republican Women of #Fairbanks Fundraiser for Dan Sullivan

Monday, Nov. 24, 4:30pm outside 6302 Old Airport Rd.

Sullivan is a rubber stamp for Trump. He voted to cut Alaska’s health care and schools while lining his own pockets. Witness his GOP funders. #AkLeg #Alaska #AkElect

we're gonna need like 3 US Attorneys General to fix this in 2029, can we make two more DOJs?
DOJ can barely keep up with all the lawsuits they are involved in who the hell is going through the files, Vance's groupchat?

yes, and it's exhausting to see people reject the possibility they are this stupid and invent elaborate schemes and misinformation operations that require capacity Elon set on fire
They’ve created a situation where there’s almost nothing they can do to satisfy anyone, short of releasing a great deal of evidence that personally, brutally implicates Trump himself.

Everyone worried they’ve found a Masterful Gambit™️ to save him from the files is missing this. It’s inherent to the nature of it as a conspiracy theory, and bc it’s got its hooks deep into their own base! It’s also clearly become one of those things the media actually wants to pursue- they’re fucked
It’s also IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to be satisfied, no matter what happens. That’s the beauty of it! There’s no reason for this EVER to go away.

a candidate attribute that is potentiall valuable in presidential nominees: having served time in the minority in a state controlled by republicans, either in the legislature or someplace else

oh she's definitely doing the Skinny Pompeo ahead of a presidential run
In a petulant order that casts her as the victim of rogue judges issuing illegal orders, Gov. Sarah Sanders on Sunday complied with two valid court orders directing her to set special elections in two vacant legislatives seats for March 3.
Gov. Sanders relents, schedules March 3 special elections to comply with court orders - Arkansas Times

why do they want guns

why don’t they like paying taxes for fully funded universal social programs

what is their culture
It's descriptive, yes—but not morally neutral. When one racial group votes 80-90% for a party while others split, it signals deep polarization. The South's GOP dominance reflects policy alignment on guns, taxes, & culture, not just "white supremacy." Ignoring that nuance is the real insanity.
It is absolutely insane that "the GOP regularly wins supermajorities in the Deep South because white southerners reliably vote for the GOP at a rate outstripping any other demographic" is consistently taken as morally normative, instead of a simple descriptive statement.

.... what
Trump shamelessly lies: "Go to Walmart and other companies, and in every case it's about 25% that a Thanksgiving meal and surroundings are 25% lower. That's big fact."

Incredible video from Reddit (too large to upload the screencap). CBP agents attempt to detain a flower vendor and end up getting chased into a vacant lot by a crowd of teenagers. What a bunch of impotent sad sacks.

The central truth that I’m coming to understand in these times, is that every Democrat will be held responsible by the political press and the public at large for the sins of one, while no republican will ever take accountability for the sins of another

People have this stupid sense in their broken brains that the only two possible outcomes are total capitulation and voting to impeach a president, without dealing with the vast continuum of things that happen formally and informally between those two extremes.

I think Gavin is a force in the primary because he has the donor base to be competitive nationally.

I think political media is very eager to crown favorites and they've been wrong more than they've been right.

“.. Ask yourself: How many other potential candidates .. can transcend the political-pop culture divide ..?

“.. there may not be a modern political figure who was simultaneously so well-positioned to be his party’s nominee ..”

this is exactly this shit I'm afraid of. because while there is *some* evidence to show it's not quite true, you cannot just dismiss it as bullshit, there are too many prior-confirming facts. it's nightmarish.
Someone close to me is starting to fall down the "Epstein is an agent" conspiracy hole, and I'm having a hell of a time pulling them out. This shit is toxic as hell while also being really easy to believe.
