there's actually a bunch of important agencies under DHS.

on the left is the pre-DHS configuration, middle is the department from which it came, and the right is the current subset of DHS.

let me just say how unsurprised I am that the judge here is a woman
For some reason he’s starting off by explaining to the judge how to practice law?

it's the single biggest reason even beyond Trump being a dying pedophile the Nazi comparisons were always a really big stretch - our society looks *nothing* like Weimar Germany
This is a crucial point. MAGA is mostly not made up of people who want to act as foot soldiers for a fascist regime, they want to watch someone else do that. They are above all consumers of content and their love for Trump is as someone who makes the fascism-themed content the crave.

i have very much been under the "you all suck, prove me wrong" approach since early 2024, actually
I know a lot of people operate off the assumption all unions are good and should be regarded as such at all times but they are in fact very different depending on their leadership and membership.
Teamsters back Greg Abbott as unions split endorsements in governor's race
The state’s largest labor group, the Texas AFL-CIO, is backing Democrat Gina Hinojosa.

They can’t even hold Minneapolis lol
Like these scare tactics have only WIDENED the swing to Democrats
Breaking:

The White House press secretary just said she "can't guarantee" that ICE won't be around polling locations in November.

can we stop concern trolling about 2030 for FIVE MINUTES
Virginia Dems banking on 10-1 for 2026 and 2028

Could lose seats in 2030 if Dem President and red wave

But House probably lost either way at that point

Then maps are redrawn anyway due to census

Goal is to last through the Trump years

these people simply aren't capable of being as imaginative as the liberals that quake in fear at every move
the whole "get Maduro to confess to election interference so they have a Real Reason to attack elections" thing is just so ludicrous, people are trying to doom a grand scheme into existence here
February 5, 2026 at 8:56 PM
and people still think that crypto is a major threat. tsk tsk.
Bitcoin has lost to close to half its value in the space of what ... 5 months?
And we’re in free fall

Robyn Kelly refusing to drop out is absolutely stupid wrecker behavior at this point, she's gotta know she isn't beating Raja AND Stratton

It's simple. The Trump Administration is plundering U.S. taxpayer dollars.

it always somehow involves this dickshit doesn't it
this really captures the perversity of the Crockett campaign

-Talarico is not particularly moderate
-the zero-to-100 application of racial and gender politics to buttress a dubious claim
-accidentally sneaking in the message that Talarico is more electable to your attack

Re-upping again, because I'm in the damn New York Times.
I'm quoted (and my book is mentioned!) in this excellent piece by Jennifer Schuessler about the President's House site in Philadelphia and our broader fight over George Washington and slavery. My first time ever having my name in the NYT, pretty excited about it. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/05/a...

"rip ICE apart" doesn't seem very subtle here
We need ICE OUT of Minnesota.

They need to repair and restore what they have broken.

Then we need to rip ICE apart.

it doesn't help that almost every societal pressure is for men to not only have fucked up relationships with women but also their own sexuality and self image

and no, i don't mean 'everything is too woke', i very much mean the opposite
Many men learned to have a completely messed up relationship with women and their own sexuality and conflate thoughts with actions and women with sex dolls, but none of that is caused by having a high libido or finding most women you meet attractive.

Now, I don't think literally every (cis) man in the world experiences this. There are all kinds of men. But I do assume it's relatively common, and all I can say is that it's not predatory to think or feel things, it's predatory to treat other human beings as if they exist for your gratification.

No, this is just 60s/70s New Left bs that turned into Reaganism.

The Federal Government is good. The Republicans are bad.
So, my liberal buds, my progressive pals: you know how you're beginning to realize that ICE (perhaps the whole of DHS?) is structured to allow abuses, riddled with career psychopaths, utterly beyond saving as an institution?

Now, consider, in the spirit of inquiry: the entire federal government

the only reason there were not more people shot and killed on jan 6th was because there weren't enough cops

i think state police being at the command of every dem governor in most relevant states to this midterm is going to either scare them off, or (mostly) result in more Ashli Babbitts
They only have to do less than a dozen blue cities in swing states to make an impact. The point is to keep black and brown people away from the polls while using DHS to seize ballots and machines. These motherfuckers invaded the Capitol. Do not underestimate them.

Did we not just see a special assistant US attorney crash out in court over her workload. Did we not see ICE chased all over Minneapolis. I do not understand the kind of person who sees every working of the enemy & instantly imagines defeat

they're getting yelled at, booed, and harassed outside target restrooms. what in the flying fuck makes you think they would be able to get anywhere near a polling station?
Yeah and put a masked armed ICe Nazi around the right 15000 polling places could depress enough votes
Always remember THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH GUYS. In the realm of Online, they can just say things and have them treated as true. In the realm of Real Life, there are 115,000 polling places in America and DHS has like 15,000 dudes total.
