I am decidedly not/not an immigration lawyer.

But I was involved in reviewing memos for TPS recommendations while at the State Department given my work related to armed conflict & mass atrocities.

Haven’t seen much evidence of that kind of expertise figuring into this admin’s TPS decisions.

We really have come a LONG way in a pretty brief amount of time as a culture on “oh, maybe it’s actually creepy and gross to incessantly perv on teenage girls everywhere all the time.”
there were multiple different countdown clocks until the Olsen twins turned 18

reddit had its infamous 'jailbait' community online until late 2011

all of this shit was just out in the open, it was awful
I feel like maybe it’s a function of everyone online being born in 2002 but I don’t think most people realize how openly and explicitly pedophilic american culture was until like… maybe 10 years ago

Incrementalists take it on the chin again. This is why they hate Mamdani. He's giving up the game that people in power HAVE POWER and don't solely exist to beg you for $5 every day. He's ruining the Democratic Party by showing voters that they have the power to do stuff instead of crouching in fear

The good news: Researchers have successfully shown that in mice, a preventative intervention for C. auris and other fungal infections works.

The bad news: It’s a vaccine, and this is the United States in the year 2026, with public health under the control of anti-vaxxer RFK Jr.
UGA vaccine protects against multiple fungal infections
Fungal infections are a top public health threat. UGA researchers have developed a vaccine that may both prevent and treat them.

As outbreaks of measles and other infectious diseases continue to arise in ICE concentration camps, I expect to see MAGA/MAHA suddenly *raging* about people who aren’t vaccinated.

The anti-vax movement is most prevalent among the white middle class in the U.S.

Wait wait wait, is this the same Boris who was sitting with current IntelligentMD chairperson Alice Jacobs when she wrote to Epstein that she wanted him to co-author a scientific study on "how vagina tastes"?

Because 4chan combined with eugenicists makes complete sense.

And here I thought I couldn't loathe these people even more.
I'm not being facetious. Epstein was apparently giving talking points to the people pushing anti trans rhetoric in the UK.

Holy shit. GO SHERYL.

Sheryl has just sued the State's Attorney in Chicago for refusing to prosecute ICE, and demanded a special prosecutor be appointed to do it.
So on Friday, I sued State's Attorney Burke - not for money, but for justice. Since she is unwilling or unable to prosecute people who terrorized Chicagoans for weeks, I am requesting the appointment of a Special Prosecutor who will. That is the only relief I am requesting. (Cont.)

ICYMI: It's time someone prosecuted ICE and CBP agents, so I decided to do something about it.
I mentioned a couple of days ago that I am finished watching this government arrest Black journalists as lawless federal agents shoot innocent unarmed people in the street.

Before they did this to Minneapolis and Portland, they did it in Chicago in Operation Midway Blitz. (Cont)

Yet another example of the great work it does.

The DNI & Tulsi Gabbard have a lot of explaining to do.
Exclusive: A U.S. official has alleged wrongdoing by U.S. spy chief Tulsi Gabbard in a complaint that is so highly classified it has sparked months of wrangling over how to share it with Congress, according to people familiar with the matter.

Congress hasn’t seen the complaint, which was filed eight months ago with the U.S. intelligence community watchdog’s office.

As I said last night about the measles outbreak at ICE detention facilities, I don’t much trust “ICE Health Services Corps”. See how the language on their website has changed.

Old language (L), Mengelian language (R).

From direct patient care to “assessing alien’s [sic] fitness” to be deported.

The agents who murdered Alex Pretti were wearing body cameras.

This is a ruse to get more funding for ICE/CBP.
Speaker Mike Johnson all over the news this morning saying that him and trump

WANT ICE AGENTS TO HAVE BODY CAMERAS

Because of course they do. They want to expand ICE surveillance capabilities to centralize their authoritarian power.

Any Democrat who calls this "reform" is a liar or a fool.
