I haven't been posting a lot of cat pics, partly because Tooka's not doing the greatest. We are assuming it's CKD because she's doing the 'lose all her weight until she's skin on frame but all her tests are picture perfect' thing and will then eventually gain weight.

Smol wants to stay up until midnight 'for fireworks, Mama!' It is freezing out, there are probably not going to be any in our 'hood, but I have a 55" tv + surround sound and know how to use it. He took a nap at 6, so.. we'll see.

This is kind of unexpected.
There's been a big December surge in enterovirus D68 in every single West coast sewershed we track (mostly CA and including a few not listed), but nowhere else in the country.
Everywhere else there was a surge in Fall that has since died out.
