Halloween went well. I bought too much candy so each kid got a fistful. Bookwise, we did okay but I need more books in Spanish next year and some for older boys/teens. Spotted some teens in the yard and suspected mischief, but they were just taking pics with the decorations.

Fine line editing is one of my favorite parts of writing. Going through each sentence and making sure it fits, that it resonates the way I want. I read most of it aloud, trying out different versions until I get it right. It's also one of the most mentally taxing pieces of the process.
