An interesting thing about Buffy is that the “Buffy” part of the concept/joke was not kept up. Is it bc she was the protagonist? The Jackie Burkhart of it all… all that’s left is “I [allegedly] buy clothes sometimes!” and I guess the unseriousness that infects everyone. Boo. Should have bimbomaxxed

I wish they could somehow incorporate her having been a vampire into the sliding timeline as an explanation for why she seems like she stepped out of the late 80s-early 90s. She was turned in 1989 and was sort of frozen in amber for all that time!
