Genuinely, I do pretty much all the admin at this time of night. My brain doesn't blink into full sentience during daylight hours, but it's deafeningly active after dark. The AuDHD night-person thing.
Catching up on a bunch of admin because the lack of unpredictable noise and gentle hum of traffic after midnight is so soothing that mundane tasks are no longer a chore.

A friend of mine's elderly dog took a new chew bone, walked to his kennel, and passed away shortly afterward.
I'm brokenhearted for them, but sixteen years for a big dog is quite an extraordinary life. And he died, happy and warm in his den, with a snack under his chin.
May we all be so lucky.

I'm not sure if most men realise this? Being mid-looking or socially awkward or fat or whatever. These factors do not protect you from sexual harassment or assault. They are vulnerabilities to prey on.
And I'm a woman and also a 40 year old 5/10. Many would think that a protective factor, but it actually means that the weird perverts regard you as attainable.

Not put it out on The Socials, but I've been dealing with a whole bunch of bleak with loved ones lately.
One good thing: I washed my hair. It's clean and conditioned. It feels nice.
My Granny (died when I was 6, I loved her so much) wrote in her diary when WW2 ended: "war over, washed my hair".
