Instead of BBC2 being wall-to-wall Dad’s Army (a show I love, OBVIOUSLY) perhaps there could be some potential future Dad’s Army contenders in there?
And, yes; some might turn out to be more like Come Back Mrs Noah than Dad’s Army. But the only way to get the good stuff is to take some chances.

Cutting pres from CBBC is baffling. There's so much talk about young viewers abandoning trad TV for YouTube & TikTok; content which is overwhelmingly direct address to camera, talking directly to the viewer. Pres seems to be the thing that could compete with that the most.

It is a gem of a show. I watched it in the 90s but I don't think I ever saw it all properly in the correct order before now. (TNG was always my main squeeze.)
