(1,2) This February 14th is Valentines Day, a day of celebration for most. For our family, it is a reminder of what we lost. Eight years ago, our daughter Jaime was murdered in the Parkland shooting. Following this, we started our foundation Orange Ribbons For Jaime.

Dear News Organisations

Please stop referring to people who gamble on the stock market as 'investors'.

They are gamblers.

Investors are people who can afford to risk using their money to support projects & hope to recover an equivalent amount at the end of the process so that they can repeat it.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Youssou N'dour and Neneh Cherry eerily predict the coming loss of gravity.

There's definitely a section in the middle of this video when gravity fails.

Why are trains in songs - particularly Blues songs - ALWAYS going Southbound? Is the Northbound service less reliable?

And how are the trains managing to go South if they never return North? Is there a train factory at the Northern end of the line?

I absolutely love the fact that people get wound up by all different sorts of words and phrases but society has evolved in such a way that we're casually allowed to say Fat Balls as if it's nothing.
January 28, 2026 at 8:23 AM
Well, yes. Thank you - Internet search - for that clarification.

I still find it amazing that companies are casually allowed to market a product called "Fat Balls" as if it doesn't mean "Enormous Testicles".
