The wellbeing of Palestine Action prisoners on hunger strike is deeply concerning.

The delay in hearing this case helps no one concerned.

Whatever one’s views are on Palestine Action as an organisation, justice delayed is justice denied.

All three top stories tonight are about men accused of rape or sexual assault of women.

Some with great power + influence, some without.

Some white, some not.

Some religious, some not.

The only commonality is that they are all men (cis men).

Men who are accused of the most awful & cruel acts.

“For the women and children” is often uttered in times of conflict and war. It’s never really for them, but always done to them.

The impact of war and violence makes their situation intolerable, dangerous and heartbreakingly painful.

Good to see this.

The Labour govt is doing the right thing on animal welfare.

A ban on trail hunting can’t come soon enough for the dogs, foxes and other animals involved in this cruel ‘sport.’
The government is announcing a raft of animal welfare measures that include a ban on trail hunting, claiming they're just a smokescreen that masks the hunting of real animals.

Big news for Luton - the government is putting £139.3million into our local services.

📈 That's 63% more over the next five years - compared to the just 1% we got from the previous government. It's so good to finally see investment in towns like ours 🫶

The cruel and outdated practice of conversion therapy has no place in our country.

The govt must bring forward a trans-inclusive ban as soon as possible, and hear the concerns & fears of the LGBTQ+ community in designing and implementing the ban.

I have had enough of men pretending to care about women’s safety to further their own profile & agenda.

It is the lowest of the low.

Women see through men who pose as the solution, but are in fact the problem.
