Speaking of such things…
New followers (that are actual people and/or sentient bots): Hi, welcome!
Are you sure about this?
No, really, are you sure this is wise?
I swear a lot, am frequently angry lately, but there are occasional cat and food posts.
Gallows humor is all I’ve got.

Fuck that. Step up or step aside. Those are your choices.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

If only I had slightly more ambition and slightly less of a moral compass.
The only thing I feel bad about is that I, personally, have not been able to scam the Dem leadership. Like sell them magic beans or a fake treasure map.

Let’s not pretend the Burger King hasn’t ALWAYS been cursed. Yes, even when it was an actor. Some iterations are just more cursed than others.

Listen Kaine, Hassan, King, Cortez-Masto, Durbin, Shaheen, Rosen, and Fetterman. You're NOT gonna take away my 2025 election joy. We voted in that election for folks to FIGHT for us. That doesn't include YOU.
YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

Maybe the alarmists aren't alarmists, maybe they just know more about human beings and what drives purely evil people while you're still thinking there's hope for a guy who was willing to shut down the country to hide his dealings with a pedophile and sent a mob to attack the Capitol.
The Trump administration on Monday said it still wants the Supreme Court to block lower court decisions requiring it to pay full food assistance benefits to about 42 million Americans who rely on the nation’s largest anti-hunger program.

The battle over funding for the nation’s largest anti-hunger program has left millions wondering how they will afford food.

Same here in PA - you can’t even vote in the primaries as an Independent, either.
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.
Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.
One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

Right, the answer isn't to abandon the party to these weasels.
The answer is to flood the party with people who will take it over and transform it.

Hi, this is me. 70% of my reliable teaching income next year will be eaten up by my health insurance, which I need because I'm chronically ill.
I hope those 8 dems who voted yes never have a moment's peace.

Kara is a New Jersey resident who is seeing her healthcare costs skyrocket without the help of ACA premium tax credits.
Stories like Kara's are why we need to find a solution that will give families the healthcare relief they need and end this shutdown.

Fully in favor of this. They should leas such miserable lives from here until the end of their terms that we won’t have to primary them.
If we’re lucky, maybe some of them will quit before then.

At this point, waiting to vote these senators out of office is a moderate position. People should ruin their lives on a daily basis. They shouldn’t be able to step foot in public without people screaming in their faces.

Half tempted to call Fetterman tomorrow just to yell at him. Or at least his voicemail.
None can be primaried in the next cycle, Shaheen & Durbin retiring.
Hassan, Masto, Fetterman up for reelection in 2028.
Rosen, Kaine, King up for reelection in 2030.

okay, so, with Dems successfully keeping anyone up in 2026 for voting for this turd let's take a look at who's up in 2026 anyway:
1. Cory Booker - apparently involved behind the scenes, constantly looking for bipartisanship. I don't dislike him personally but he doesn't have what we need. Primary.
