Sure, you've got Trump right where you want him.
Do I trust them? No. That’s why I voted no. But they are in a terrible position, and we can use the next few weeks to turn the pressure up even further.

Republicans are never going to allow ACA subsidies to continue. They've wanted to eliminate them since the ACA was passed, and they now know that Democrats aren't that committed to keeping the subsidies.

Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.
Every time Dems step in, it only emboldens the GOP & they make it even worse the next time.
Every time Dems step in, it only emboldens the GOP & they make it even worse the next time.
So Democrats get:
1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays
2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail
3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts
Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

This is, unsurprisingly, nonsensical. Is he suggesting eliminating health insurance and giving people a few thousand dollars instead? And then when they get a cancer diagnosis they just go bankrupt?
He is so unserious. That's why we are shut down and Americans know it.

One of the absolute moral failures of my lifetime. Just plain evil.
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

MTG is the first Republican to see that there will be a post-Trump populism vacuum, and that whoever fills it has a bright future. Now is the time to start building a brand.
Greene: "I will praise Nancy Pelosi. She had an incredible career for her party. I served under her speakership in my first term in Congress and I'm very impressed at her ability to get things done. I wish we could get things done for our party like Nancy Pelosi was able to deliver for her party."

I think this just pushes Republicans even harder to rig elections. They are facing a historical wipeout if they continue what they're doing in Washington and across America, and they don't have the capacity to grow or change. I expect Congress to reopen for voting reform and EOs to be coming.
really important element of this basically total victory is that it puts the fear of god in republican incumbents and may bring the redistricting push to a total halt
