Someone, probably Russ Vought, told him that sending money to Americans would give them choice and increase his popularity. Trump, like always, is a useful idiot.

Murphy is the best communicator under 75 and that's what is needed most. No more mealy-mouthed statements, just clarity on the current American crisis and how they are going to fix it.

It's not overnight, there is a one year grace period that people are missing.

Rand Paul is against it and introduced an amendment to remove it. Kentucky is one of the top 3 hemp producing states, its going to be painful for them.

It has a one year ramp before the ban, which is hopefully enough time to kill it.

He's not playing 5D chess. His brain is cooked and he can't stay on any topic for more than a couple of minutes.

We know this because he told us.

The reality is the government was shut down the first day Trump entered office. We just didn't talk about it that way.

The only real leverage Dems had is on appropriations. Schumer screwed that up in February/March for FY 26. It imperiled his political support.

Interesting idea, but I think it's just as likely that Vought or someone else told him about welfare queens or he saw one of these AI videos. Republicans never met a government benefit they didnt want to cut.

They're closing the loophole that has been allowing d8, THCA, etc to be sold.
November 11, 2025 at 2:11 AM
And now that I read about the bill, they are specifically closing the loophole and industrial hemp would still be legal.
November 11, 2025 at 2:10 AM
Agree with you, but this chart ignores the fact that a lot of hemp is intoxicating due to delta 8 THC, and delta 9 is being sold through the "loophole" in the Farm Bill. Hemp is a legal high for a large percentage of us in states that don't have access to marijuana.

There's no reason he has to seat her at the moment.

They will always find some way to ignore the law, and they know there are no repercussions because Americans are ignorant and apathetic. We can only hope that blocking the release will cost enough votes for enough of them.

No, it doesnt mean that at all. Johnson has not committed to voting on ACA extensions, nor has he committed to seating Grijalva. Nor does he have to.

You're losing a lot of your voters with this. Democrats wonder why so many people think both parties are the same on Election Day.
November 10, 2025 at 11:10 PM
It makes the argument that the parties have worked together to create such structural advantages for the duopoly that its almost impossible for third parties to compete without major structural overhaul.
